This has been so much fun to read, however, I don’t agree that the author could be an ‘average’ man to achieve this. I’m sure those isolation days on the Pacific have been brought back recently with Covid. I think this book will serve as an inspiration to people daring or wild enough to give it a go if we are ever able to travel in this same free-footed way. If they are I’m not sure they will beat Phileas Phil-Hill though.
